Trip to FRIM

Last thrusday I went on a field trip with dd to FRIM -thats Forrest Research Institute Malaysia. We had fun hiking,enjoying a picnic lunch , getting lost in the jungle, walking up in the sky for Canopy walk.Here are some pics.

Well AI is finsihed and I am a little surprised by the results as I was pretty sure that Adam is going to win but what do I know ! I liked Danny more then Kris but if I had to vote I would have voted for Kris too!!!
On the other note went to shop for some stuff for my table and came back with beautiful Mugs :) love them!!!!
For dinner I made Chicken Curry & rice ( dd's request) and every one loved it! bingo!

After visiting so many blogs and Loving a lot of them I thought It was time I did somthing different with mine. I came accross this blog http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/blog-secrets which has tons of free stuff to update or to give your blog a makeover. Go check it out its pretty cool! i think my blog looks nice but I still can't figure out how to get the heading right. Oh well I tried ;)

I thought I will have something to post abt every day but what can I say there is not much happening here !! But I think I can come up with something every wkend to talk about.

I was at book store ( my fav. place to hang) and was flipping thru BHG and it had some grt rooms in blue. Blue is surely my Fav. color and they showed some real nice rooms in pale blue,powder blue Oh SO serene!!!!! I am sure in our new home I will be decorating our bedroom in shades of blue.

I love the picture arrangement in this one.

The wall color in this one is perfect and Love the wood color also.

Love the side table in this one. Also love the pillows on the bed- different blue prints.

So all of you who love blue here is some inspiration that I found on google.

I am not sure how you all get the time to update your blog on a regular basis. I am really bad at it :( keep forgetting and when ever I remember I have nothing interesting to say. I Love reading everyone's blogs as they are SO fun!!! but I don't think anyone reads mine.

I finally got back to scrapbooking yesterday and finished 2 LO :) I am very happy with the finished pages. Almost finished reading The Book thief and liking it. Its a book set in WWII . Planning on doing couple of more pages today. Its raining here since early morning so no walking today. OK Off to start my day.

time is running out

There is so much to do & so much to learn but time is running out of my hands. As I read & view other blogs I get so much inspiration to try & do more but some how the time is running out. I think I need to make a list of the projects I want to do and then just asign one project a week. That should get me going.

I am not feeling well & dh is also out of town :( I tell you its such a horrible feeling to be alone and be sick. its my dd's bday today so I making her fav dinner pizza lol! and on sunday we are having a small pool party. I am baking & icing ( first time) the cake.

I am trying to get into the habbit of updating my blog on a regular basis. I tried a new recipe last night for dinner. Infact its just a twist on the old favourite one. Its pizza rools which I saw at www.tastespotting.com and decided to give it a try. Kids totally loved it & I also think it came out really nice. I also tried a new Pizza dough recipe which I found at http://www.cookingforengineers.com/recipe/172/Pan-Pizza
I liked this recipe better then the one I had and I think I am going to use this one from now on.
This weekend is going to be a busy one with my friend's kids coming over to stay overnite and ds's MS party and music classes for dd & ds. SO you all have a great weekend!

Organizing my Kitchen

We had some kitchen work done yesterday so yesterday night & today I spend most of my day cleaning & re-organizing my kitchen space. Its all done & clean now :) I also cleaned my sbing table, my linen closet and organized kids paper from school. The house looks much better now. Now I have to borrow sewing machine from my friend and start the "to sew pile" so I can clear the clutter. Cooked Palak aloo paneer for kids dinner & will make chapatis.
